Why every source quotes a different Stripchat percentage
Search for Stripchat's revenue share and you will be told 50%, 55%, 60%, 70% and occasionally 80%. It is tempting to assume most of those are wrong. They are mostly measuring different things off the same flat number.
Your side of the deal does not move. Stripchat pays $0.05 per token, regardless of who tipped you or what they paid. The percentage only exists as a comparison against the viewer's side, and the viewer's side does move:
- Bundle size. A 200-token starter pack works out near $0.105 per token. A 2,350-token bundle drops to about $0.085. Same tip to you, different spend by them, different percentage.
- Giveaway tokens. Stripchat hands out tokens through hourly giveaways and contests. Those cost the viewer nothing but still pay you $0.05, which pushes the average model share up when you include them.
- Whether transaction costs are counted. Quote the share before payment-processing fees and it looks like one number; quote it after and it looks considerably better.
- Tier. Higher-earning models sit on better terms, so a top performer's real number is not a beginner's number.

How many tokens before Stripchat pays you?
